The creators
weSpace is a project of We Media, a digital media agency with an international clientele of media makers, thinkers and innovators. We Media helps media companies, NGOs, philanthropies and visionary entrepreneurs imagine new ways of doing things – and do them. We Media publishes the influential We Media blog, conducts events and research, helps companies create new ventures, organizes a global network of digital media visionaries and manages iFOCOS, a non-profit think tank and innovation lab committed to improving the human experience in the digital world. At weSpace, We Media offers strategy and communication guidance to members – and access to a global network of innovators, business leaders, journalists, investors, philanthropies and social entrepreneurs.
Anchor Partner
Mobile app powerhouse Canvas moved into the original weSpace in the summer of 2010 – and the company exploded. Its growing team also filled up weSpace. Rather than move on, founder Jim Quigly persuaded We Media to “move with” – and in December 2011 Canvas became the anchor member and sponsor of a new, expanded, able-to-do-more-things weSpace at Reston Town Center.
