What’s a weSpace?

weSpace is a place for work, collaboration and networking.

weSpace provides shared co-working space and private suites for entrepreneurs, startups, small businesses and large companies in search of a lower-cost work option for remote workers.

weSpace is for people who care about how and where they work. It’s an office, a studio and a business incubator – a place where you can get things done and collaborate with entrepreneurs, startups, developers, designers and digital creatives.

Here’s how it works.

  1. Become a member
  2. Reserve your dates
  3. Get to Work.

You bring your laptop and cell phone, we provide the wifi and workspace in an inspiring environment for work, collaboration and creation.

weSpace is also home to We Media, a creative business consultancy that organizes a global network of digital innovators. We Media organizes events worldwide and leads research, thinking and investments for iFOCOS, a non-profit media think tank and futures lab. When you work at weSpace you tap into the global We Media Community – with an up-close view of how it works. You’ll exchange ideas with a network of founders, entrepreneurs and creative professionals.

What’s Co-Working?

The nature of work and business is changing. For many professions, technology makes work anywhere possible. That might mean you work at home, or in coffee shops or where ever your work takes you. Co-working provides a “place” and a community for independent professionals who find they work better together than they do alone. You can read more about co-working and find other co-working spaces here.

Coworking answers the question that so many face when working from home: “Why isn’t this as fun as I thought it would be?” Beyond just creating better places to work, coworking spaces are built around the idea of community-building and sustainability. Coworking spaces agree to uphold the values set forth by those who developed the concept in the first place: collaboration, community, sustainability, openness, and accessibility.

The Hood

We’re located next door to Reston Town Center, the business and cultural hub in the heart of Northern Virginia’s technology corridor. It’s a unique, pedestrian-friendly, human-scaled “new urban” neighborhood with a variety of shops, restaurants and the Hyatt Regency Reston hotel. Reston itself is a visionary notion of the ‘burbs – a walkable community ideal for work and play.
